My Loving Parents, At the time I am writing to you the year is 1864. Some major events that have occurred are Sherman’s March and the Battle at Mobile Bay. I have been tired lately. Our generals have been pushing us very hard. At the moment, we are winning the war and hopefully we can continue to maintain this position. Sincerely, Orlin Kist
