Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

The Union is a tough opponent. The battles have been rough but we have been pushing through. The morning routine has stayed the same as before. We must be prepared at all times for an attack now. I have seen many die on the battle field and it scars me and has me worried about myself but I continue to fight to my best abilities against the Union.
